With the United States economy in a situate ofrecession from the empty promises brought forthby President George Bush, the sphere inf totallyible achange for the better. President Bushs policieswere not twist through, and the American pile were expecting results. Re- election wasnearing for Bush and he really needed to cleave hisact together if he wanted another term in office.Out of no where a former governor was leadingthe poll over Republican candidate, PresidentGeorge Bush. Clinton had focused a lot of hisefforts towards the junior generation of 18 to25 years. Bush was also behind because hisprograms created the subject recession the nationwas experiencing. Clinton spoke of new jobopportunities and better wages, which appealedto the young generation, because they werestarting out in their lives and more jobs meantmore options. Many people felt as though theywere being betrayed by Bush, because of hisempty "No New Taxes" constitution.Another factor that swayed vo tes Clintons way,was the change in ideas of the "ReaganDemocrats", who were registered Democratswhich voted Republican. These voters realisedthat Bush was not following through with hispromises and they wanted results. Families werebeing excruciation because of unemployment and the"Reagan Democrats" needed to provide for theirfamilies.One major issue was the cultural action ofwelfare. Americans were becoming lazy and didnot "need" jobs as long as they were on welfare.Bush just let this issue go, while Clinton make aplan stating that after two years of welfare,everyone cap adequate to(p) of workings would have toaccept a job, or training for a job. This policyattracted voters of the working and middle classpopulation. This policy also showed that theDemocratic caller is a party of workers and doersas opposed to slackers. It says they will protectthe workers of America.Because of all of these factors, Clinton has anastonishing lead over his opposing mate. Thislead continues on and leads Clinton onto hiselection and the re-election. Clinton is a verywell-liked president, as well as effective.Employment was steady on the rise, and theinflation rate was lower than it had been in manyyears.Clinton was able to negotiate foreign policy, hewas able to handle domestic personal matters and he wasliked by the people. He also looked good oncamera which was another asset he had in hisfavor. Bill Clintons approval rating was veryhigh and he was controlling the country withdignity and competence.The unthinkable then happened, he was caughthaving an affair with a discolor House intern,Monica Lewinski. This scandal plagued theWhite House for many months. Clinton was even be sick on trial, accused of perjury.
